PEEK Posterior Interbody Fusion Cage (PLIF)
The LP™ CAGE is a PEEK Optima®-based posterior interbody fusion (PLIF) cage designed for reliable disc height restoration and segmental stability in posterior lumbar approaches. Available in both straight (0°) and lordotic (4°, 8°) configurations, the LP™ cage adapts to varied sagittal profiles and surgical goals. The aggressive grooved surface ensures immediate fixation against endplate migration, while multiple height and length options provide coverage for a broad range of patient anatomies from L1 to S1.
Manufactured from PEEK Optima® for full radiolucency, MRI/CT compatibility, and an elastic modulus near cortical bone — minimizing stress shielding while supporting solid bony fusion.
Available in 0° (straight), 4°, and 8° lordotic configurations, enabling the surgeon to choose the appropriate sagittal profile for each level and restore natural lumbar lordosis through the posterior corridor.
Bilateral superior and inferior grooved surfaces create mechanical interdigitation with the vertebral endplate, resisting cage subsidence and migration under axial loading and flexion-extension.
Heights from 8 mm to 15 mm in 1 mm increments; lengths of 25, 27, 32, and 34 mm — allowing precise sizing for collapsed or near-normal disc space heights across all lumbar levels.
Central hollow cavity and lateral fenestrations maximize bone graft containment and biologic contact with both endplates, supporting reliable interbody arthrodesis.
Compact bilateral cage footprint designed for the PLIF corridor — adequate endplate coverage while allowing safe placement within the annular window alongside bilateral pedicle screw instrumentation.
